It has semi-early cycle, moderate resistance to anthracnose and Fusarium oxysporum, and erect shoot, which allows for direct mechanical harvesting. This differentiated product can interest national and international farmers and industries that seek a product with high added value. Based on performance, the cultivar BRS FS311 is recommended for the Brazilian states of Goiás, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso, Tocantins, Maranhão, Bahia and Espírito Santo for cultivation in the winter (April-Sept) and rainy season (Sept-Jan); and for the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul and Rio Grande do Sul, for the rainy and dry seasons (Sept-Jan and Feb-Jun, respectively).
