The collection of clones is composed by cupuaçu cultivars BRS Careca, BRS Fartura, BRS Duquesa, BRS Curinga and BRS Golias.

When the five cultivar clones are grown simultaneously, they offer high fruit yield and good resistance to witches' broom, with the aim of making cultivation more sustainable and profitable.

Since they are clones, the five cultivars need to be propagated vegetatively through grafted seedlings or by exchanging the crown of unproductive plants through the technique called Cupuaçu Tree crown Replacement.

In comparison with other cultivars in the market, the new cultivars show considerable advantage in terms of yield, both in terms of fruits and of pulp and almonds, which can reach 14 tons per hectare.

The recommendation to reach the apex of productivity is that the cultivars are planted simultaneously, in the same orchard, alternating the plants in the field arrangement.
