Organizational unit at tactical level, under the Executive Director of Innovation and Technology, co-responsible for the management of the macroprocess of innovation and responsible for the processes of asset management, innovation and business management, marketing management, and management of asset scale-up and trade, as well as for the coordination of the Embrapa Network of Innovation and Business, which includes Offices for Innovation and Business in support of the implementation of the attributions of the secretariat. It also includes Embrapa's Technological Innovation Team (NIT), as stipulated by Article 16 of Law 10973/2004, with the attributions established in said Article and those that are going to be established by Embrapa's Regulations and Innovation Policy. It is known as SIN from the acronym in Portuguese.
